Hey Startup People,

We are back for September, with a meetup focused on getting from an idea to an MVP (minimum viable product) as effectively as possible.

This one has a combination of lightning talks, panel feedback and participation from you, the Melbourne community. In fact, it doesn't work if you don't stick your hand up and get involved!

An awesome space, (Inspire9), free beer, free pizza, and Australia's largest regular tech meetup for startup founders.

We will be doing a couple of 5 minute lightning talks at the start to kick off the evening. The first talk is:

Who the f*ck is the customer?

How we spoke to 80 customers on the phone around the world in 4 weeks without a single cold call, in order to validate which market we were solving a problem for.

- Michael Calle, Attendly

The second lightning talk will be announced shortly.

The second half of the evening is going to focus on learning from people who are building their MVP right now, or have recently finished. We want 5 founders to get up in front of a panel of experts and talk about what they have done, what they are working on, and then get feedback from the panel on what should come next.

This is perfect for you if you are trying to get something off the ground, but you are not sure if you are going in the right direction. The feedback will be interactive between the crowd and the panel for your startup, and will be positive, supportive and focused on getting you to the next stage.

So if you want to be one of those 5 who gets the opportunity to get feedback on their MVP progress, just email [masked] with the following:

Company/Project name:

Industry/Target Market:

The problem you're trying to solve (a few sentences):

How you're going to do it (a few sentences):

What you've done so far on product design/dev/customers (a few sentences):

On the night, you will get the chance to explain your business and your startup with some supporting slides, and then we will open it up for Q&A and feedback.
