Money in the Bank: Completing the Investment
Legal Workshop Series for Start-ups and Emerging Companies
Mason Hayes & Curran is pleased to announce a series of workshops covering the main legal issues facing an entrepreneur when raising finance.
The second workshop will take place on Monday, 17 June from 5.30pm to 8.00pm and will focus on completing the investment and the legal documentation and steps necessary to close out the financing. This session will look at the key elements of a subscription and shareholders agreement, the articles of association as well as the differences in approach taken by investors such as Enterprise Ireland, business angels and VC funds.
The workshop will be led by Martin Kelleher, a corporate partner with significant experience in advising on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, reorganisations and fundraisings.
Martin will provide practical guidance on the legal steps involved in raising finance and how to deal with the issues which commonly arise. There will be a Q&A session at the end of each workshop.
