Scot Przybylski, Senior UX Designer at Slice of Lime presents The UX of the Internet of Everything (IoE).
There could be 25 billion things connected to the internet by 2015. That’s 3.5 things per person on the planet. With that many connected things complicating our lives and requiring our attention, the need to understand what people want and how people will use these devices could be more important than the things themselves.
This talk will discuss the idea of the Internet of Everything (IoE) and how User Experience Design will provide understanding about people's needs, problems and goals. Through understanding, UX Design can guide the creation of a human centered ecosystem of “things” that reduces complexity and demand for attention in someone’s life while achieving business and product goals. I will also be bringing a few IoE things made by Front Range companies to show-and-tell.
